Blockchain Foundations for Content Creators

This isn't another generic tech bootcamp. We built this program after seeing too many creators struggle with blockchain concepts that should be accessible. Six months of practical learning starting September 2025, taught by people who actually build these systems every day.

What You'll Actually Learn

We broke down the curriculum into three phases. Each builds on the last, but you're not locked into theory for months before getting your hands dirty.

01

Blockchain Fundamentals

Start with how blockchain actually works. No crypto hype, just the technical foundation. You'll understand distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and why this technology matters for content rights.

8 weeks
02

Smart Contracts & Media

Write your first smart contract in week three. We focus on real media applications – automated royalty splits, content licensing, and rights management that creators can actually use.

10 weeks
03

Content Distribution Systems

Build a working prototype. You'll design and implement a decentralized content system, dealing with storage, access control, and monetization. This becomes your portfolio piece.

8 weeks
04

Token Economics

Learn how tokens work in media ecosystems. We cover utility tokens, governance models, and economic design without the speculation noise. Real business models only.

6 weeks
05

Security & Best Practices

Things go wrong when security is an afterthought. You'll learn vulnerability testing, secure coding patterns, and how to audit smart contracts before they handle real assets.

5 weeks
06

Industry Project

Collaborate with a Taiwan-based media company on their actual challenges. Previous cohorts built streaming payment systems, NFT galleries, and rights management tools that went into production.

7 weeks

Learn From Active Practitioners

Our instructors work on production blockchain systems during the day and teach in the evenings. They bring current problems and solutions from real projects, not outdated case studies from textbooks.

Elvin Torbjørnsen

Smart Contract Architect

Spent five years building DeFi protocols before switching to media applications. Elvin teaches the smart contracts module and has strong opinions about gas optimization that you'll hear often.

Brenna Kallio

Distributed Systems Lead

Brenna runs our infrastructure at WaveIgnite and leads the fundamentals course. She started as a traditional backend developer and can explain why blockchain solves problems other databases can't.

Rafferty Dervish

Content Systems Specialist

Rafferty guides the industry projects and previously worked at two streaming platforms. He knows what media companies actually need versus what blockchain startups pitch them.
